Day 1 - Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy

Board Norwegian Viva, NCL’s state-of-the-art Prima Class vessel. Take time to explore the grand Ocean Boulevard, relax at Infinity Beach, and enjoy an open-seating gourmet dinner at the Indulge Food Hall as the ship sets sail from Civitavecchia down the Tyrrhenian Coast.

Day 2 - Salerno (Amalfi Coast & Pompeii), Italy

Dock in Salerno, gateway to Southern Italy's famous Amalfi Coast. Take a shore excursion along the cliffside roads to Positano and Amalfi, or explore the preserved ancient Roman city of Pompeii frozen in time by Mount Vesuvius.

Day 3 - Catania (Sicily), Italy

Arrive in Catania along Sicily's eastern coast beneath Mount Etna. Stroll through the historic Baroque center, visit the volcano’s active craters, or take a scenic coastal drive up to the hilltop town of Taormina and its ancient Greek Theatre.

Day 4 - At Sea

Enjoy a full relaxing day at sea sailing past the southern tip of Greece toward the Aegean Islands. Thrill-seekers can try the Viva Speedway (three-story racetrack) or The Drop slide, while those looking to relax can indulge at the Mandara Spa or lounge poolside.

Day 5 - Athens (Piraeus), Greece

Dock at Piraeus and head into the ancient capital of Greece. Spend your day touring iconic UNESCO sites including the Acropolis, Parthenon, and Ancient Agora, followed by a stroll through the narrow, bustling streets of the historic Plaka district.

Day 6 - Santorini, Greece

Anchor off the caldera of Santorini, one of the most famous islands in the Cyclades. Ride the cable car or donkey path up to Fira, or visit Oia to admire iconic whitewashed buildings, blue-domed churches, and stunning panoramic cliffside sunset views.

Day 7 - Kusadasi, Turkey

Arrive in Kusadasi on Turkey’s Aegean coast. Take a short trip inland to explore Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient Greco-Roman cities in the world, featuring the Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, and the Temple of Artemis.

Day 8 - Istanbul, Turkey

Cruise through the historic Dardanelles and Sea of Marmara into Istanbul. Spend a full day exploring world-famous landmarks like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the sprawling Grand Bazaar, followed by an overnight stay on board in port.

Day 9 - Istanbul, Turkey

Enjoy a final breakfast aboard Norwegian Viva before disembarking in Istanbul to begin your post-cruise explorations or catch your flight home.
